Wade Koniakowsky

About the Artist

Wade Koniakowsky was born in Texas in 1954. He has spent his entire life involved with the ocean and art, beginning in Corpus Christi and Port Aransas. A surfer since 1966, Wade has soaked up the ocean resulting in a deep reservoir of imagery to draw from. He now lives and works on the California Coast with his wife and daughters and makes the voyage back to Texas every year to visit friends and family along the coast and the Texas hill country and paint en plein air.
