Julienne Knowles

About the Artist

Originally from the Caribbean (Belize and the Bahamas) and currently living in Texas. Julienne spent her formative years as a third culture child traveling and living in Sub-Saharan Africa where she spent 9 years in Uganda. Her art has been informed by deeply intertwined afro-Caribbean and Mestizo roots incorporated with ruminations and appreciation for East and West African culture.
