It is situated at the confluence of the Negro and Amazon rivers and is where artist Dinah Bowman made her ‘rubbings’ or ‘gyotaku fish prints’ of the following 5 species: Piranha Pacu, Piranha Sardine, Piranha Pintado, Piranha Cashew, and Piranha Pacu.
